Elise Rijssenbeek (1990) studied Forensic Science at the University of Amsterdam. After completing her studies, she decided to look for work with a more positive environmental impact in the sustainable sector. She then worked for five years in energy transition at various Energy Counters as a consultant on sustainable living. She gained a lot of experience advising and helping residents, municipalities and schools in making their buildings energy efficient. During this period, Elise also carried out several projects with schoolchildren of different levels (high school, vocational school, higher education) on the topic of energy saving. Always keen on travelling and travelling a lot, Elise found a new home and adventure in Berlin after eight years in Amsterdam. During the additional search for a new professional challenge in Berlin, she eventually joined Clash! as an administrative assistant in September 2023. At Clash!, she continues to develop her interest in working with young people and the social issues Clash! is focusing on.
