Nienke Hoed (1993) studied Specialist Painting at the Cibap in Zwolle. After the Cibap, she studied Fine Art & Design in Education at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU). During her graduation internship at the HKU, she has been teaching art courses at Cibap. Nienke wrote her thesis research about the artist’s studio and how the different working methods of artists can be applied in art lessons. After graduating in 2018, she exhibited with her own work in several galleries and art spaces. During this period, she also had the opportunity to work in Berlin during an artist-in-residence project by a Dutch artist. This experience made her decide to move to Berlin. Nienke started working at Clash! in 2021, organising projects for vocational education students, especially for those in creative studies. Working for Clash! brings together many different interests and passions, such as (visual) art, history, culture and creating and collaborating with young people.
