Language animation is a pedagogy that aims to facilitate and encourage communication in an intercultural context. It also stimulates curiosity for other languages, motivates participants to learn foreign languages and acquire vocabulary, and supports the unblocking of learning and language barriers. It seems therefore important to continue to develop its presence in all kinds of intercultural and international seminars, workshops or exchanges.
With this as a goal, the partners Interkulturelles Netzwerk (Germany), Clash! (Germany), Peuple et Culture (France), Gwennili (France), Volonterski Centar Vojvodine (Serbia), AVER (Tunisia), Associação Faísca Voadora (Portugal), Arpeggio (Greece) and La Choza de Trasmulas in cooperation with Intercultural Life (Spain) have been working on 2 projects during the last couple of years :
– On the one hand we have a project that aims to make this pedagogy visible and known in new countries and contexts. This project was supported by Erasmus +.
– On the other hand, we have a project that aims to develop and adapt language animation to the online format, also to overcome the current obstacles of the world pandemic. This project was supported by the French-German Youth Office.
We would like to invite you to an event during which we will present both projects, and also make you experience language animation through your screen!
The date? The 25th of March.
The time? From 18h00 to 20h00 CET.
The place? We will be meeting on the Zoom platform (a link will be sent after registration).
The languages ? The event will be translated in Spanish, Greek, Portuguese, French, German and English.
Many of you already know language animation, some of you may have heard of it, but not yet had the opportunity to experience it, and for some others it is maybe the first time you hear about it. Despite these differences, this event is directed to all of you! So do not hesitate to sign in through the following form until the 22nd of March.
