We organize one- and two-week mobility programs for students of all levels and study fields in vocational education (MBO). During these projects, students will gain insight into their field of study in Berlin, learn about citizenship topics, and/or discover the German language and Berlin’s culture. In addition, students will work on their self-reliance and intercultural awareness.
Our projects can be funded through the European Erasmus+ program for vocational education.
METHODS
The Clash! program consists of various tours, workshops, (work) visits, project work, and, if applicable, short internships. In our projects, we use non-formal learning methods and strive to adapt the content and methods to the needs and wishes of the target group.
In addition, we use the city as a learning environment: the encounters, interactions, and different locations in the city serve as a means to engage in dialogue on citizenship topics.
ACCOMMODATION & BOARD
During the project, students stay in group accommodations or apartments, organized by Clash! During the project, students will manage the household independently, which means they will do their own grocery shopping, cook, and keep the apartment clean.
For us, this is an integral part of the educational process fostering self-reliance.
GUIDANCE
All Clash! team members have a pedagogical background and will guide students throughout their international experience.
During the project, the same guide will accompany the group at all times, allowing a strong trusting relationship to develop between the guide and the students.
In addition to leading tours, the Clash! guide will provide students with the space to engage in dialogue on various topics while also keeping an eye on the group dynamics.
